Boosting a Single Item in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hi, my name is William. In this video, you'll learn how to promote a single item in the back office administration cockpit. I'll select the adaptive search perspective. On the left side, I'll choose Electronic Solar Index as the index configuration and pick default electronics from the search profile list. Now I'll promote a certain product in the brands product category by selecting brands under the categories section. Here we have two ways. Promote the item directly from the results or promote the item using dedicated wizards to promote an item directly from the results. I just click on the three vertical dots next to the item and select promote. And to promote an item under Dedicated Wizards, I'll click the boost tab and under promoted Create New Item. A new wizard called Create New Promoted Item will appear in the item field. I'll enter the ID or the name of the products I want to promote. Let's try it with the EasyShare camera. Once I've selected the item, I'll click done. Now I'll navigate to the storefronts and verify that the product I just promoted is listed first in the list of products under the brands category. And there we go. My two promoted cameras are right at the top of the list. Thank you for watching.
