Canceling Supplier Management Processes in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch category manager Joe Ortiz cancel supplier management processes. Hi, I'm Joe. In this scenario, I'll cancel a new process. In the Processes detail area of the supplier's profile, I'll find the process I want to cancel. Since this is a qualification process, I could also have started in the Qualifications detail area. Next, I'll start the cancellation. I'll enter a required internal comment to let other people in my organization know why I'm canceling the process. Entering an external comment to the supplier is optional, but I'll add one to explain the situation. Finally, I'll confirm that I want to cancel the process. I've successfully cancelled the process. Since it was a new process, the project is no longer visible in the supplier's profile. In this scenario, I'll cancel a process renewal. In the Qualifications detail area of the supplier's profile, I'll find the process I want to cancel. Even though this is a qualification process, I could also have started in the Processes detail area. Next, I'll initiate the cancellation. I'll enter a required internal comment and an optional external comment to explain to others why I'm canceling the process. Finally, I'll confirm the cancellation. I've successfully cancelled the process. Since it was a process renewal, the project has reverted to its previous state and status from before the renewal started. You've now learned how to cancel supplier management processes. Thanks for watching.
