Configuring Case Creation Widgets through SAP Advanced Workflow in SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management

Hello, in this video I'll show you how to configure a case creation widget and make the widget available to guest users so they can create a new case in workflow. Case creation widgets are a type of form that allows guest users to create new cases without a username and password. Case creation widgets allow your customers to complete online forms that create new cases in your workflow environment. This feature is useful for customer issues like product returns and other types of disputes. In the Workflow Setup menu, I'll hover over Fields and Forms and click Case Creation Widgets. The Case Creation Widget workspace allows users to manage existing case creation widgets and create new ones. I am going to create a new widget by clicking Widget Setup Wizard. The wizard walks users through three steps. The first step is building the form. This step is completed with the form designer. The top portion of the form designer is where I'll select standard and custom fields and other user interface components to add to the form. The bottom portion of the form allows me to design the layout of the elements. The elements can be easily added, removed, and rearranged using a drag-and-drop method. Now that I have configured the form, I'll click next. The second step of the wizard is defining the settings and behaviors of the widget. In the Basic Settings panel, there are three required fields. First, name the widget. Next, assign the widget to a specific workflow. The workflow I select here is the workflow that the case travels through once the case is created. Finally, I am required to select an initial case status. This is the status the case enters first upon creation. The Advanced Settings panel allows users to set parameters for cases created using the widget. I'll set a default project, a default priority, a default assignee, and a default case name for the cases that will be created using this widget. I'll also include a thank you message that will appear once the form is submitted. There are several other advanced setting options. I can select to display the Send To container on the widget. The Send To container is used to notify specific workflow users of the action. Using a color name or a hex code, I can change the background color of the form to match the website's color scheme. I can also hide the Submit New button, which is automatically displayed after the case has been submitted. I can provide the user with a link to the case once the form is submitted, and modify the widget's height and width by adjusting the pixels. By unchecking or disabling the default setting, I don't want to use receiver, users have the option to use automatic widget resizing and other more extensive JavaScript integration capabilities. this option requires me to attach a URL path to a receiver.htm file. In the Notifications panel, I can configure notifications sent to users when the case is created. By default, notifications are enabled for all actions, including case creation. But I can turn off notifications by using the On-Off selection. Once the widget has been saved, I can edit to configure post actions and events. Since this case widget has not been saved, I will move to an existing one to edit and show you the two options. Post actions are actions applied after the action itself executes. In other words, a post action on a case creation widget executes once the case is created. To manually create a new post action, I can click New Post Action to define the rules, or I can configure post actions with scripts. The Events panel allows me to configure scripts which will execute before, during, or after the action, or when the action is submitted or cancelled. I'll click Save to move to the final step. In the final step of the wizard, Workflow displays the HTML code needed to embed the widget on the website. The first block of code should be included in the head section of the webpage. The second block of code should be included in the location the widget should appear on the webpage. I'll click OK to close the window. To access the HTML code from an existing widget, begin from the Case Creation Widget workspace in the Fields and Forms menu. To access the code, I'll click the Actions icon and then HTML code.
