Creating a Commerce Customization in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hi there. My name is Adam and in this video, I'll show you all the steps needed to create a commerce customization. Let's go to the electronic storefront and login as a bronze VIP customer. I'll select a compact camera from the best seller section. How about a PowerShot camera? I'll add the camera to the card and check out. Since there is no discount available at this time, I'll remove the product from my shopping cart and sign out. In order to create a new commerce customization, I'll navigate to the Smart Edit login page and enter my admin credentials. I'll then select the Electronics Staged catalog and click on Home Page. To show the existing customizations such as VIP customers. I'll click on personalization and then on customize. Now I want to create a new commerce customization and add it to the VIP customers customization, which is a sample customization included in the Commerce suite. To do this, I'll click on library and select Manage Library to show its target groups. I'll expand VIP customers by clicking the small arrow next to it. For my new Commerce customization. I'll pick the bronze VIP customers, target group. Click the three horizontal dots to the right and select the option Commerce customization. On the Commerce Customization Wizard. I'll choose promotion as the Commerce Customization action, and under promotion I'll select personalized XL VIP bronze Customer Percentage discount cart. Then I click Save. I can now see the promotion indicator icon next to the bronze VIP customers target Group. Then I'll close the window and select sites to enable the changes live. I need to synchronize the Electronics Catalog by clicking the sync button next to the Electronics Staged Content catalog. Now I'll relog in to the electronic storefront as a bronze VIP customer. Under the best seller section, I'll select the PowerShot camera again and click checkout. Through the Commerce customization, the customer will now get a 5% discount for the camera. This is the end of this tutorial. Thanks for watching.
