Creating a Multi-Code Coupon in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, my name is Elif. In this video, I'd like to show you how to create a multicolored coupon in the back office administration cockpit. First, I log in using my credentials as an administrator. Then I'll never get to marketing, coupon management, and finally coupons. Now I'll click on the plus icon at the top of the search results and select multicolored Coupon. The code of a multicolored coupon consists of a prefix that is common to all the coupons, as well as a unique number, so each coupon is unique and can only be used once. Let's pretend I would like to create a coupon for event or sale in my online store for apparel products. At the bottom of my screen, I'll complete unnecessary properties. First, I'll pick out a code prefix. I'll provide a name for the coupon. And pick the default coupon code generation configuration. This determines the composition of the codes I'm going to generate out the box. There is only the default setting, which is fine for my purpose. Regarding coupon validity, I'll pick a start and end date. And activate the coupon. Notice that I can't enter the number of coupons I want to generate yet. To do that, I just have to save my progress first. Now I'll enter a number. How about 1000? Hit the generate button and save one more time. That's it. I can download a list of the generated codes by clicking this button. Now let's take a look at the coupons. Here they are 1000 unique codes. Please keep in mind that in order to actually use the coupons, I'll need to create a coupon based promotion. Its condition would be the type in the coupon code, and giving 15% off for certain products would be the action. That's all for now.
