Creating Campaigns for Abandoned Shopping Carts in Legacy Editor in SAP Marketing Cloud

Don't throw in the towel when visitors don't complete their purchase in your web shop. Turn the abandoned shopping cart into a revenue boosting email campaign with SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud. It's easy. David is a regular customer at the electronics web shop. He wants to buy a new camera for his next vacation. David finds the perfect one and the electronics web shop and puts it in the shopping cart before he can confirm his order. He takes a call from a friend and the app is closed. Distracted after the call, David puts his phone away to go meet his friend. His camera is still on the shopping cart. Elsa is a marketing expert at electronics. Who knows how often customers abandon their shopping cart for a variety of reasons. She loves that SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud tracks the activity of frequent buyers. Here's how she uses it to set up a specific campaign for customers. Just like David. She opens the content studio and creates a new email for prospects who didn't complete their purchases. Here, she uploads the already prepared HTML email template from help.sap.com. She clicks on the headline abandoned shopping cart. She decides not to send emails for empty shopping carts. So she selects the checkmark in the settings section. In the abandoned shopping cart template. I also can select a format for her mail. Under the layout tab, she can include a header, a footer, or both where she can include details about the shopping cart itself. In the product content block, she can display information about the features of the products that remain in the shopping cart. I also decides on the number of products that she wants to display in the email. Afterwards, she goes into the campaign app to create an abandoned shopping cart campaign. She simply uses the campaign template and fills in all the needed data. Now Elsa simply has to upload her campaign and it is ready to be published. She releases the campaign and it reacts on abandoned shopping carts automatically. Elsa can get in touch with all prospects who didn't complete their purchases immediately. Later, David checks his mail and is happy to see that he has received an email with the shopping cart items. He clicks on the View Cart button to complete his purchase in the web shop. David's chosen camera is still waiting for him in the shopping cart. He doesn't hesitate and places his order. Elsa wants to monitor the effectiveness of her campaign. She is happy to see that customers who had left items in their shopping cart returned to complete the purchases following her campaign. Furthermore, the value of all orders can be displayed so she is able to see the revenue generated by her campaign. This is definitely a reason for celebration. David got his camera and Elsa's marketing campaign ran successfully thanks to SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud.
