Creating Extension Fields in SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Key users can create extension fields by going to Extensibility Administration. To go to Extensibility Administration, go to your user profile. Click on settings. Go to all settings. Here we list all the settings. Extensibility administration will be under the group called extensibility. Click on Extensibility Administration to open up the extensibility admin. Here we list all the entities grouped as per their service. We also provide the search option for you to search for any entity. There is a filter called extendable. It will only filter out extendable entities. Let's take an example of case. I will search for case here. As you can see, case comes under case service. So I can click on case in the Custom Fields tab will list all the extension fields which are created for case to create a new extension field. Click on plus. User must enter the label and data type. Let's create a deal size. I will enter data type as number and data format as float. Some data types accept links. In my case I will enter four. I will click on save to create a new extension field. Thank you for watching.
