Depersonalizing Data in SAP Service Cloud Version 2

In this video, you'll learn how to remove personal data of employees, individual customers, and contacts at their request. Log on is a data Protection Officer and from the user menu, navigate to settings. Select all settings and then the Data Retention rule for employees Worklist. In the minimum Retention period column. Click the edit icon to define the data retention period for each country or region. Go back to settings and open the Data Depersonalization work list. Select the relevant option from the menu to display disclosure relevant data for employees, contacts, and individual customers. You can also view the list of all employees that have passed the retention period by selecting employees. Past retention period. You also have an option to block the removal for a data subject. This may be required for business or legal reasons. If the data subject is blocked, it can't be removed. The system prompts you to enter the reason and description for blocking. Select this option to unblock a data subject. To depersonalize the data subject. Click here. The system runs a check to ensure that there are no retention blocks or vetoes raised by any other entities. If there is a block, the system displays a message stating that retention isn't possible. Select the depersonalization icon for another data subject. The system runs the check again and shows a success message. You can view the run ID in the Depersonalization Logs work list. Here you can see the details of entities from which the subject data was removed. You can also see the status and timestamp. Thanks for watching.
