Designing Effective Landing Pages in SAP Marketing Cloud

Building a campaign landing page can be frustrating and time consuming, but it doesn't have to be. The new landing page editor offers easy to use design features, simple drag and drop functionality, and out of the box landing page publication in a few simple steps. Let's have a look at how simple landing pages can be designed and published in SAP Marketing cloud. Sarah is a marketing manager for The Shopping Company, an online clothing store. She and her team want to invite customers to subscribe to their store newsletter and in turn, enhance their lead generation. Sarah knows that she needs a newsletter sign up form where customers can easily subscribe and give permission to be contacted by email. She opens the content studio and goes to the form editor to re-use an existing form. She easily edits the form to add the permission element. Such properties to ensure that the customer's marketing permissions are stored correctly in SAP Marketing Cloud, and saves perform. Next, she creates a new landing page to advertise the new summer web promotion. She simply drags and drops one of the many layout options to begin designing her landing page, and adds an image block. Next, Sarah adds a text block to her landing page and completes the template with other block elements. Then she applies some simple formatting. Sarah adds the image URL for the shopping company's logo, changes the background color of some blocks, and edits the text block. As she wants to highlight the percentage off promotion. She enters another image URL and the image properties. Now Sarah can integrate the newsletter sign up form she created in the forms editor into her landing page. This form is the call to action for customers by opening the landing page from an email. They can enter their details to receive the summer weather promotion. Lastly, Sarah adds a footer containing the shopping company's social media info and contact details. She does this by quickly copying and pasting the related HTML code. Afterwards, she saves the created landing page before Sarah publishes her landing page. She can preview how it looks on desktop and mobile. It looks great so Sarah can publish it immediately out of the box. She clicks on the URL and sees everything at a glance. Now the landing page link is ready for her to use, and her planned email campaign. Now, Sarah and her team can integrate this landing page as a call to action and emails to their customers. This allows them to gain more newsletter subscribers for their lead generation process. Watch how Sarah inserts the landing page link in the email. The email can now be included in an email marketing campaign, allowing customers to open the landing page and subscribe to take advantage of the great summer weather promotion. What a success! Sarah and her team have quickly and easily design an effective landing page and enhanced the lead generation process. Thanks to the features of the new Landing Page Editor and SAP Marketing Cloud.
