Editing a Profile through SAP Advanced Workflow in SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management

Hello, my name is Amy. In this video, I'll show you how to view your profile and workflow, edit your profile picture, and manage basic information and notification rules. Every registered user and workflow has their own profile. User profiles can be accessed in two ways. You can simply click any name or click the profile icon located in the top right hand side of the screen and select View Profile. In the user profile, you can view information, adjust settings, and log out of the application. As an end user, be aware that your administrator can configure the information that displays on the user profile. Because of this, settings and layout might differ from what you see here. Other workflow users can view the information in your profile depending on their permission settings. Also dependent on settings, you can view other profiles and send messages to other users. I'll begin on the workflow home page where I'll click my name to view my profile. In the profile viewing page, I can view basic information such as my name and user type. I can also view my own permission details by clicking View Permission Details. This dialog displays a list of workflows, projects, users, and permission groups for which I have access rights. In the Users tab, I can view a list of users that I have access to see. When I click one of the users, I will have access to view information about that user. In this example, I'll select Adam. I can send a message by clicking Send Message to Adam. Now, I'll simply enter a subject and my message, and then I'll click Send Message. Keep in mind, clicking on any name that is linked on the homepage will bring you to the same options. Now, I'll close my permission details and show you a few more things I can view in a profile. On the Recent Activities tab, I can view a list of recent activities performed. The Team tab displays a list of teams that the user is associated with. And the Projects tab displays a list of projects to which the user is connected. As a user, I can edit my profile picture. I can do so from this view by hovering over the current profile picture and selecting Edit. Now I'll select the picture I want to use for my profile and then click Update. To edit personal information and set notification preferences, I'll select User Settings which can be found in the drop-down menu on the profile icon. In the Information tab under User Settings, I can click Edit to make changes. I can change my first, middle, and last name, my email, my preferred dictionary, and the number format I want to be displayed. Once I've made the desired changes, I'll click Update. First I'll open the notifications panel and show you how to configure notifications. In this workspace, I have a few options. First, I can enable Do not receive emails upon my own activities. By checking this option, I am telling the system I do not want to receive email notifications. When actions in the system are configured to send notifications, this setting will override that feature. Next, I can add notification filters to send only notifications based on certain parameters. To use this feature, the first thing I'll do is enable notification filters. First I'll click Add New to design a new notification filter. Using the onboarding workflow as my example, let's say I want to filter notifications to be sure I'm notified when producers have been onboarded. First I'll give the filter a name. First, the system will automatically generate a system ID. The ID can be edited using the pencil icon, however, it is not recommended for me to modify automatically generated system IDs. In my example, I only want to receive notifications when a producer is onboarded, so I want to select if workflow is onboarding and if status is onboarded. Going a step further, I can also elect to be notified if I am the one who created the case. To do this, I will select If Created By and then enter my name. As you can see, there are many parameter filtering options available, including Workflow, Status, Project, Priority, Created By, Assignee, Performer, and Action. Thank you for watching.
