Excluding a Facet in Adaptive Search in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, my name is Refia. If you're curious about how to exclude a facet from a product category in the adaptive search perspective, let's look at how it's done in this video. I have my navigation context set up here with a category aware search profile. This means my search settings for categories can differ from the global context. I'll select cameras and then digital cameras. From here let's look at the default facets. What is stores doing here. I want to kick this one out either I added to exclude it list or I override here like so and then exclude. Now a quick refresh of the store. And there we have it. The source facet has gone into hiding. Reverting. This change is done using Discard Override. This change is done using Discard Override. If you're looking to exclude products and source, you are in luck. It works the same way. An excluded field is available there as well. For products, you can alternatively also click here and directly select exclude. I hope you enjoyed this video.
