The Pipeline Flow and SAP Sales and Service Cloud version two allows you to see where opportunities started from and where they progressed to over time. You start by selecting a fiscal period. Let's look at this month by selecting a bucket in the start column. You immediately see the forecast category changes for those opportunities. And by clicking on a connector line, you get detailed information including the number of affected, opportunities and their value. Since this chart works in either direction, you can also check endpoint buckets to see where those opportunities started from. With the pipeline flow, investigating pipeline changes is easy. There's no need to get sales operations involved or run lengthy reports. It really is that simple.
