Exploring the Integration Capabilities of SAP Commerce Cloud

SAP Commerce Cloud comes with many pre-build integrations and also a feature-rich integration layer to allow you to set up custom integrations. In this video, we'll focus on existing integrations to other SAP products, but keep in mind the same concepts can of course be applied to integrating with other solutions. As a front office system, SAP Commerce is a very capable product and does provide some standard back office capabilities. Although commerce can be used on its own, most customers realize the full value of the product by integrating it with their back office system. SAP Commerce supports integration with SforHana as well as ECC to provide customers with seamless e-commerce capabilities. The foundation for these capabilities is mastered data such as material, B2B customers, classifications, price rows and discounts, stock levels, and order notifications. Integration with the SAP Sales Order Simulation module enables real-time fetching of stock availability, credit checks, and pricing. Order management integration can be customized and extended to suit specific customer requirements. SAP S4Hana service can also be integrated to SAP Commerce and can provide invoice details for sales and service orders, service skills replication, service date scheduling and rescheduling, as well as service order, Combining SAP Commerce Cloud with SAP Marketing Cloud offers a solution for building rich customer profiles and constructing personalized shopping experiences. Once a customer has browsed a storefront built by SAP Commerce and has consented to sharing their data, the interaction data is replicated to SAP marketing. There, it can be combined with existing marketing data to create segments for different customer profiles and provides input for recommendation models. Integration with the Smart Edit module of SAP Commerce Cloud enables easy configuration of product and offer recommendations. Customer segments in SAP Marketing Cloud can also be used to create personalized shopping experiences. For example, whether a customer sees a banner in the storefront could depend on whether they're targeted for the associated campaign in the SAP marketing system. Either individual components or entire pages in the storefront can be personalized based on the segments that the customer belongs to. SAP Marketing Cloud can also work with Commerce Cloud to detect and react to abandoned carts. Context-driven services are a great way to understand your customer better and provide real-time segmenting for personalized shopping experiences through SAP Commerce Cloud. The integration allows you to build a better picture of customer behavior. You can assign customers to segments and personalize their shopping experience on SAP commerce using merchandising or personalized content and promotions. The same data can be integrated with SAP Marketing Cloud to build out richer profiles and segments. Integrating SAP Commerce with SAP Cloud for customer enables true interactive selling. The agents have access to vital information such as the customer's account details and their shopping cart. With just a few clicks, the agent can provide product recommendations or custom promotions, solve customer incidents, and can help guide the customer to complete their purchase or even complete it on their behalf. The integration with SAP Customer Data Cloud provides the capabilities to enable customized registration and login options and to manage user profile and consent. Customer Data Cloud can provide Commerce Cloud with UI snippets for user registration and manage user profile and privacy related data such as consents and subscriptions. This allows you to easily and automatically manage important personal data required for compliance issues such as session validity and user deletion. The integration between SAPCQ and SAPCommerce Cloud allows commerce customers to negotiate on quote specifics and send the request for quotation to SAPCQ in one click. They can add subscriptions and standard physical products thanks to SAPCPQ's enhanced quote 2.0 Engine. Customers can ask for discounts and a change of quote terms by leaving comments on the quote and sending it to SAPCPQ. Changes made to the product catalog in SAP Commerce Cloud are replicated to SAPCPQ. SAP Commerce Integration with SAP subscription billing using SAP Cloud Platform Integration helps monetize your subscription and usage-based services. Sell them across channels and touchpoints, build them and collect and recognize revenue. Subscription products are replicated to the SAP Commerce Cloud storefront, allowing customers to browse them and to add them to the card and place orders. Customers can register on SAP Commerce Cloud, and their profile will be replicated to SAP subscription billing. SAP subscription billing will then be able to provision the ordered subscriptions and generate charges and billing information. The SAP Commerce Cloud integration with SAP Qualtrics enables customers to combine operating data with experience data to gain a deeper understanding of your customer's intent and affinity through insights based on buying actions and behaviors. Use the power of Qualtrics to seamlessly collect feedback and customer sentiment throughout key stages of your customer's journey and to provide precise personalization based on customer responses. New software as a service offerings from SAP include dedicated e-commerce microservices. These allow for an even more. modular and flexible architecture. SAP customer order sourcing provides accurate article availability and optimizes sourcing to provide your customers with the option to click and ship or click and collect. Through integration with SAP Omni Channel Promotion Pricing, you can leverage consistent pricing across all your sales channels and provide the ability to personalize promotions. And finally, integration with SAP Entitlement Management allows you to build your own based business models and then have them be processed automatically. It also provides your customers with a transparent view of what they're entitled to, including the ability to set up alerts and reminders. Commerce Cloud can leverage the business partner master data services to replicate business partner master data for customer and contact persons to SAP Commerce in a business to business or B2B scenario. The master data service running on SAP Cloud platform acts as a source of for your business partner master data that can be replicated to SAP Commerce. An additional integration module supports functionality to assist a new B2C customer on the storefront in retrieving any existing details such as address information from the backend systems. But SAP Commerce Cloud is not limited to out-of-the-box integrations and provides rich capabilities to integrate with any kind of system. Integration API is a dynamic integration layer supporting OData protocols, to enable easy and configurable integration to back-in systems. Configuration is easy at runtime using the Back Office interface. It can be combined with SAP Cloud Platform integration to provide a flexible and customizable solution for any integration scenario. Many out-of-the-box integrations discussed in this video are already available through the SAP API Business Hub. The Omnic Commerce Connect layer of SAP Commerce, also called OCCC, is a set of restful web service. that allow you to decoucommerce platform from customer endpoints and provide seamless and consistent commerce capabilities across any sales channel. You could use OCC to set up a mobile shopping application or your own decoupled storefront using whatever front -end technologies your developers are comfortable with. OCC is not just limited to customer-facing endpoints. You can leverage it in any system where you want to provide commerce capabilities. Thank you for watching.
