Exploring the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit Transfer List – PET 2026

Hello and welcome to the Product Expert Training 2026. In this video, we are covering migration cockpit transfer lists in SAP Cloud ERP. Please take note of this disclaimer. Please take into consideration that this information is proprietary to SAP. My name is Mirella and I am product expert and process owner at Cloud ERP Product success, enablement and adoption. In agenda of this session, transfer list will be explained and demo will be provided. We are excited to introduce you to the new transfer list feature for the migration approach. Migrate data directly from SAP system. In the past, data transferred via API from the SAP ECC system to the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system was not visible, making it challenging to identify and resolve issues during migration. With the new transfer list, you gain now valuable insights into the exact data used by the target API uses to create data in the target system. This provides a powerful function for troubleshooting and analyzing migration processes. Please note that this functionality requires that the simulation or migration for the relevant migration object instance to be completed before us. Let's explore how this functionality works in the system to analyze individual migration object instances using the Transfer List feature. Start by opening an existing migration project via the SAP Fiori App Migrate your data. This app allows you to manage your migration activities and review the progress of your existing projects. On the Migration Projects view, select a migration project that you would like to review in more detail. On the Migration Project view, go to the Data column and click on the Instances link for the specific migration object you're interested in. This gives you direct access to the individual object instances that belong to the selected Migration object. This will bring up the Migration Object Instances screen. As mentioned before, Please ensure that the simulation or migration for the relevant migration object instance has been completed successfully before using this feature. Please keep in mind that you can only select one instance at a time. Select the instance you wish to analyze and then press the Transfer List button to examine the data that was transferred via the API. This helps you better understand how the transferred values were processed. On the Transfer List view that is now displayed, you can easily view the relevant target parameters for the selected migration object instance along with the number of values associated with each target parameter. This provides a clear and structured overview of the transferred content. Additionally, you have the option to navigate to a target parameter and view the relevant fields and values in more detail. This can be especially useful when validating migrated data or reviewing specific entries. We're now at the end of our introduction to this new feature.
