Giving or Withdrawing Consent on a Customer's Behalf in the Assisted Service Mode in SAP Commerce Cloud

Bonjour. In this video, let's look at how to give or withdraw a consent on a customer's behalf using the assisted service mode. I just open an SME customer session on the storefront as a customer support agent. By default, consent in the B2C accelerator is given at registration time. Here, the customer chooses whether or not to opt in. This particular customer registered, but a little later down the line, she now feels pestered by too many newsletters and doesn't want to share her data to make her happy. I'll navigate to my account and select Consent Management. This page allows a customer or agent to manage all consents. This can be anything from the simple sharing of profile data to registration, to newsletters and so on. I'll go ahead and withdraw consent. All consent activities tracked and can be checked by an administrator in the back office. Administration. Cockpit under user and consent. Here I can see when consent was given and withdrawn under consent templates. I can also create new consents and assign them to stores. New templates will appear on the consent management on the store front, but no entry point will automatically be created. Creating an entry. In other words, a place where a customer can opt in like the registration page requires a little more effort, and we suggest you check our help documentation for the details. That's it for this video. Thank you for watching.
