How to Add a Field to Validation Rule Type HRH65 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Professional Services

Good morning, everyone. In the context of HRH65, today we are going to speak about the modification of validation rule type. And we're going to add a new field in the organization tab. So to do so we use the PCC or configuration workbench to transaction is PYC underscore CONF underscore WB. And you can also add that transaction in the favorites. So when I enter in the configuration workbench, I have some objects available. They are, a lot of objects are available in the control center. And I'm going to select the validation rule type. I double-click on the training employment and I click on the pen to modify the object. That training employment has been created for training purpose and is based upon the class, the rule logic of SAP and on those dimensions isn't a lot of variation and root cause analysis. Today we are going to speak about dimensions. In the dimensions, I have many blocks available, like Job Information, Organization information. And the requirement is to add into the organization information. A new field available, that's the personnel area, the personnel area is available in the catalog. Indeed, for type one, that's the field personnel. Within the catalog we have all the info types that can be available within SAP, but also fields from the payroll. And the directory and the messages of the payroll are also available. And the type table, PTEX2000 is also available. That table contains the interface between the CATS. So I can drag and drop the fields within the block organization information like this. The field falls within the organization information. I can move that field on the other, in the other blocks, but I cannot move within the block because that makes no sense. But list is organized by alphabet, alphabetical order. We can also, for sure rename each block and also rename each field as we want. Also, for example, in the compensation information the payroll area is available, I can move that payroll area within the organization information like this. I validate and now I can save.
