Introducing SAP Commerce Integration Extension Pack in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, my name is Cheryl. In this video, I'm going to give you a brief introduction to the SAP Commerce Cloud Integration Extension Pack. What is the Integration Extension pack? It is the out-of-the-box solution to integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with other SAP systems or application, such as S for Hana, ERP, CRM, SAP Marketing Cloud or SAP Customer Data Cloud. It is released separately to SAP Commerce on a more regular basis, so that you can use new integration features without having to wait for a new version of SAP Commerce Cloud. The integration extension pack should be compatible to a specific version of SAP Commerce Cloud. Check the compatibility matrix for more information. For example, the integration extension Pack of 2005 is compatible to the SAP Commerce Cloud 2005. The solution consists of a set of redeveloped SAP Commerce Cloud extensions that are corresponding to different SAP systems or applications for each supported SAP system or application. One or more integration methods are implemented. The FP Commerce Integration API module, the SVP Cloud Platform Integration, which is also known as CP II Data Hub or different frameworks specific to the SAP system to be connected. As you might notice, there are more than one way to support the integration between SAP Commerce Cloud and your SAP system. How do you choose which solution to apply? The strategic way forward for integration between SAP systems if possible. If you use the solution based on SAP Commerce Integration API module and SAP Cloud Platform integration, however, it is recommended to consult the dedicated documentation and the Integration Extension pack before you start the implementation. Now let's take a look at which SAP solutions are supported by the Integration Extension Pack. Here is an overview of the supported functional areas covering marketing, retail, pricing and product, customer data service and support orders and availability, product configuration and quotes, master data in analytics, billing and invoice. And lastly, subscriptions and entitlements, each with the specific integration solution. Please note that for each integration solution, there is a dedicated website containing the necessary information about the features and architecture and implementation of the solution. This concludes the brief introduction to the SAP Commerce Cloud Integration Extension Pack. If you want to know more, visit the following help Portal page where you can find detailed documentation of each integration solution provided. Thank you for watching.
