Inviting Suppliers to Fill Out Standalone Modular Questionnaires in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch supplier manager Amy Chen invite suppliers to fill out standalone modular questionnaires. Hi, I'm Amy. To start, I'll choose Manage > SM Modular Questionnaires on the dashboard. On the Questionnaire page, I can see the modular questionnaires my company's administrators have set up. I can select one or more of these questionnaires to send to suppliers. In this scenario, I need to collect diversity and information security management certificates from some new IT suppliers. I'll use the search and filter options to help me find the appropriate questionnaires to gather these certificates. For example, I can apply a category filter to locate questionnaires that are specific to information technology suppliers. I want IT suppliers to provide information security management certificates, so I'll select the ISO 27000 Family questionnaire. I also need to collect suppliers' diversity information. Since my company collects this information for all suppliers, I'll clear the category filter. I'll search for the Diversity Certificates questionnaire by name and select it from the search results. Now that I've selected the two questionnaires I want to send to suppliers, I'll move to the next step in the invitation process. On this page, I'll select the suppliers that I want to fill out the questionnaires I chose in the previous step. I can search and filter the supplier list to find the ones I want to invite. For example, I can filter based on questionnaire status, narrowing the list to suppliers who have not yet been sent the questionnaires I selected. I'll select suppliers to invite from the filtered results. Additionally, I can search for a specific supplier by name. I'll select the supplier from the search results. Each supplier I select is saved even if the current search results don't show them. The filter list above the search results shows the number of suppliers that I've selected. I've selected all the suppliers I want to invite to the questionnaires, so I'll choose Next. The confirmation page displays the number of suppliers and questionnaires I selected. This page also includes two tiles. The Suppliers good to go tile shows a list of selected suppliers who have contacts and are ready for the invitation. By default, the primary contact for each listed supplier is the person who will be invited to complete the questionnaires. If I want to invite someone different, I can change the contact. If the person I want to invite isn't listed, and I have the required permissions, I can add a new contact. The person I want to fill out the questionnaire is one of the supplier's current contacts, so I'll select them and choose Save. The invitee has been updated. If any of the suppliers I selected were missing contacts, I could choose the Suppliers missing contacts tile to add contacts for them. After verifying everything on the confirmation page is correct, I'll send the questionnaires to the supplier contacts. You've now learned how to invite suppliers to fill out standalone modular questionnaires. Thanks for watching.
