Maintaining Business Partner Settings and Value Mappings in SAP Sales/Service Cloud Version 2 for the Integration with SAP S/4HANA

In this video, we'll maintain general settings and value mappings for the replication of business partners. In SAP Sales and Service Cloud version 2, go to Settings and select All Settings. Search for mapping using the search bar and then locate the value mapping setting within the integration card. Make sure you don't select the wrong mapping. Choose the plus icon. First, add a new mapping group. In this demo, we call it S/4HANA. All mappings must belong to a group. The group is later assigned to the communication configuration. The value name field specifies which code list you want to map. In our case, it's the business partner role. then select a rule for missing mappings. We'll only map a single entry and want all other codes to pass without changes. Hence, we select pass-through. Now, choose Save to make the actual mapping table visible. Add a new mapping with the plus icon and select the desired internal value. We want to map the customer role, which is CRM000. In SAP S/4HANA, the role is FLCU01. Confirm the entry. This concludes the mapping of the customer business partner role. Before we can continue with the next mapping, we have to configure some other business partner settings. For that, go back to the settings main screen and search for relationships. You can find them in the business partners card. This brings you to the relationship definition. Here, we have to define certain relationships as sales area dependent so SAP Sales and Service Cloud version 2 allows you to assign, for instance, different sales employees per sales area. First, search for employee. Toggle the sales area dependent option for the sales employee with the code AT46. Keep the codes of the relationships in mind. We'll meet them again later. Next, search for CRM. Mark the following relationships as sales area dependent. End customer, Ship to party relationship, Payer, and on the next page, the Bill to party relationship. That's it for the relationship definition. Close the tab. In the second step, we have to maintain different types of value mappings for the relationships. Navigate back to the Value Mapping setting. Create a new mapping and assign it to the previously created S/4HANA group. Then, open the value name drop-down and search for Partner Number Type. As the rule for missing mappings, select Pass Through. Save the mapping to reveal the actual mapping entries table. Use the plus icon to add a new entry. From the internal value drop -down, choose Customer, Customer Number. As external value, enter AG, which is the end customer or sold to party in SAP S/4HANA. Activate the default outbound checkbox, since we will add multiple mappings for the customer number. Then confirm the entry, and add another one. Again, select the customer number from the internal value drop-down. This time, assign the external value RG, which is the S/4HANA identifier for the payer. The default outbound flag is not needed for the remaining entries. Confirm the entry and add another one. Once more, select customer number and enter RE as the external value. This is the bill to party. Add one more entry for customer number and the external value WE, which is the ship to party. That's it for the customer number mappings. Now, add another entry for the contact person number. Enter the external value AP. Confirm the entry and create a last one. This time, choose employee number. Enter VE as the external value, which belongs to the sales employee in our S/4HANA system. That's it for the partner number type mappings. Now, add a new mapping for another code list and assign the Mapping Group S/4HANA to it. Open the Value Name drop -down and search for Business Partner Directed Relationship Partner Function Role. Select again Pass-Through as Rule for Missing Mappings and save the mapping. Now, add a new entry and select the internal value AT46-1 has Sales Employee. Here, we meet the relationship codes again. As the external value, enter VE, which belongs to the sales employee in our SAP S/4HANA system. Confirm the entry and create another one. Select CRME021, has end customer, and assign it to the external value AG, which is the sold-to-party in S/4HANA. Create the mapping for the internal value CRMH021, has ship to party, and assign the external value WE. Repeat this for the mapping of CRMH031, has the payer, and the external value RG. Finally, add the mapping for CRMH041, has the bill to party, and assign the external value RE. All these settings allow SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2 to receive and work with partner function information from SAP S/4HANA. That concludes this demonstration.
