Making Status Decisions for Qualification or Miscellaneous Processes in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch category manager Joe Ortiz make status decisions for process projects. Hi, I'm Joe. In this scenario, I'll make a status decision for a new process project. I need to set the final status for a qualification process, which means I can start from either the Qualifications or Processes detail area of the supplier profile. I'll go to the Qualifications area. Next, I'll view the process that's pending a decision. To set the final status for the first time, I'll choose Make decision. I have no concerns about this supplier's qualifications, so I'll set the process status to Standard Qualification Approved and then enter a required comment about my decision. While making a status decision, I can edit some of the questions in the process intake form. However, I won't make any changes in this case. I'll return to the top of the page and save my decision. The Process status area displays the currently set status. In this scenario, I'll change the status decision for an existing process project. I'll start by locating the process in the Processes detail area of the supplier's profile and then viewing its details. To update the existing status, I'll choose Change in the Process status area. I'll select a different status and then enter a required comment about my decision. I'll also edit some of the questions in the process intake form. In this case, I'll update the expiration and reminder schedules. I'll return to the top of the page and save my decision. The Process status area displays the currently set status and the decision history. You've now learned how to make status decisions for process projects. Thanks for watching.
