Managing Company Card Accounts in SAP Concur

You use the Company Card feature to manage company card accounts. Select Company Card. Select the Manage Accounts tab. From the Manage Accounts tab, you can manage card accounts, including creation and assignment to employees. To find a specific card account, specify the appropriate search criteria and select Search. The percent sign (%) can be used as a wild card in the search text field. Select the Search In drop down arrow. Select the appropriate option. Select the Show Only drop-down arrow. To see all credit cards that have been assigned to a user, select Assigned Individual Accounts. Select Search. Select the Include Deleted Accounts or Include Cancelled Accounts checkboxes, as needed. Select the Name on Card. Using the search results list, you can modify existing accounts, unassign a credit card from a user, and create a new credit card account. Note, the Assign option will not be active because the list contains already assigned credit cards. Select Modify. You can only modify certain items on a card account, which include the Name on Card, the Payment Type, Clearing Account Code, Effective Date, and the Card Icon. All other items are locked. Make any needed changes, and then select Save to update the account. Select Cancel to exit without saving. To unassign a credit card from a user, select Unassign. To create a new account, select New. Complete the required fields (marked in red) and any other needed fields. When entering the Account Number, do not enter any spaces or dashes. Note that the clearing account code is necessary for Company Billed/Company Paid (CBCP) and Individual Billed/Company Paid (IBCP) card accounts. It is the GL account that is used if the user owes the company money. The Effective Date works as a filter for transactions. Transactions with a posting date prior to the effective date will not be visible to the cardholder. Select the Card Icon drop-down arrow. You can select a different color icon for the charges associated with this card. Select the appropriate option. After you have completed the account information, select Save to create the new account or Save and Assign to go to the employee search page. Select Save and Assign. To search for the user, enter all or part of the user's name. Select the appropriate user. Select Assign. To assign a credit card to another individual, you will search for all unassigned individual accounts. Select the card to be assigned, and then select the individual to assign to the card. Select the appropriate user.  If any transactions for this card have already been imported the transaction release period days determines how many days the system will look back and release transactions to a user. The credit card is now assigned to the selected user. This concludes the video. Thank you for watching
