Managing Supplier Contacts in Supplier 360° Profiles in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll learn how to add, edit, and delete a supplier contact from the supplier 360° profile in SAP Ariba. You must have the appropriate permissions to manage supplier contacts in the supplier 360° profile. For information about the user groups that grant access to this functionality, see the Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management Group Descriptions guide in the SAP Help Portal. In the Contacts area of the supplier 360° profile, I'll choose the Add icon in the upper right corner of the Contacts table. You can toggle the Primary Contact switch on to make this contact the primary contact for the supplier. If you're adding the first contact to a supplier 360° profile, the contact automatically becomes the primary supplier contact, whether you use the toggle switch or not. Next, I'll enter information for the new supplier contact, including the contact's first and last name, email address, and any optional information I want to include. When I'm finished entering information, I'll choose Save. I'll choose Confirm to verify that I want to change the primary supplier contact. The new contact is shown in the Contacts area of the supplier 360° profile. To edit an existing supplier contact, I'll choose more options and select Edit. This supplier contact is linked to an SAP Business Network account, so the contact's name, email address, office phone, and time zone data are no longer editable in my site. Any updates the supplier contact makes to those fields in their SAP Business Network profile will automatically show in my site. I'll edit some internal information for the existing supplier contact. When I'm finished editing information, I'll choose Save. I'll choose Confirm to verify that I want to change the primary supplier contact. The Contacts area of the supplier 360° profile shows my updates. To delete a supplier contact, I'll choose more options and select Delete. I'll choose Delete to confirm that I want to delete the contact. Deleting a supplier contact permanently removes it from the supplier 360° profile. You cannot delete unapproved contacts from the supplier's SAP Business Network account or the primary supplier contact. If you want to delete the supplier's current primary contact, you must remove the primary designation from the contact before you can delete it. You've now seen how to add, edit, and delete a supplier contact from the supplier 360° profile in SAP Ariba. Thanks for watching.
