Managing Users in SAP Commerce Cloud Portal

Hi, my name is William. In this video, I'm going to show you how to add and assign users to your SAP Commerce Cloud subscriptions. Before a user can be assigned to an SAP Commerce Cloud subscription, they must first have a valid S-User ID, which can be requested by going to the following link.  The new user should click the "Request User" button and follow the instructions to create a new SAP user and receive an S-number. Only a user assigned to a Customer System Administrator role can add and assign new users to a Commerce Cloud subscription.  Here, I am logged in as a Customer System Administrator for the subscription to which I wish to add a new user.  I'll first select the "User Management" option in the side navigation. This opens the "User Management" page which shows all users and their roles that are currently assigned to this particular subscription. If I want to add a new user, I have to click the "Add Another User" button in the top-right corner. On this page, I have to provide the S-User ID for the user, the user’s email, and the role I wish them to have. The role can be: CUSTOMER_SYS_ADMIN, which allows the user to deploy builds, perform administrative tasks, and manage users. It can be CUSTOMER_DEVELOPER, which allows the user to access the subscription and deploy builds, or CUSTOMER_LOG_VIEWER, which gives the user access to view Kibana logs. This user will have no access to the Commerce Cloud Portal interface.  Once done, I'll click the "Save" button. I've now registered a new S-user and assigned this user to a role for a subscription in SAP Commerce Cloud Portal. The user should now be able to access the Commerce Cloud Portal and see the subscription.  I also have the option to delete a user, which will remove that user’s access to the subscription.  That wraps it up for this video.
