Navigating the Monitoring Page for Guided Sourcing Events in SAP Ariba

This video will demonstrate how to navigate the monitoring page in Published Guided Sourcing Events. After you publish your event, you can use the monitoring page to see how many suppliers have bid, when the event ends, and how many items have been bid on. The monitoring page consists of three event-related information panels, Monitor Event, Items That Need Quotes, and Questions, Requirements, and Attachments. Each panel enables you to monitor and take actions on specific areas of your event. The monitoring page can be used to pause and resume the event, extend or reduce the timing, cancel or close the event, edit the content, communicate with participants, submit surrogate bids, lock participants from the event, resend invitation emails and download supplier attachments. attachments. Let's first look at the monitoring page content. We are seeing the monitoring panel, where a summary of the supplier participation status for the event to quickly see where participants are in the bidding process. We see the amount of time remaining, with an edit button to extend or reduce the time remaining in the event. We see summaries of the items that have received bids. In our example, we have all five invited suppliers have bid on 100% of the event, so the graphs are whole. If there were pending responses, I could see a summary in the panel. The Items That Need Quotes panel shows you items, terms, suppliers, and participant response values. You can filter, sort, organize, and search supplier responses. You can also use the Items That Need Quotes panel to submit surrogate bids, resend invitation emails, lock participants, download bid reports, and download supplier attachments. By default, the Items That Need Quotes panel can show the responses from up to 20 participants, but this can be increased to a maximum of 40 by administrators by changing a parameter in the Intelligent Configuration Manager. The filter icon in the blue banner at the top of the page opens a pop-up for filtering the columns with participant responses. Just show filters to open filter fields. You can see if a supplier has the lowest or best bid for competitive terms within the table, as well as their ranks. The questions, requirements, and attachments panel shows you supplier responses to your questions. The table filters and actions work in a similar manner as the items that need quotes table, but instead of line item and lots, we can filter, sort, and organize supplier responses to the questions from the event. The actions in the supplier columns in this table are the same as above, such as locking the supplier, marking excluded, surrogate bid, or resend the invitation email.
