Replenishing and Scheduling Orders in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hi, my name is Tomasz Papiernik. Replenishment and order scheduling are designed for the B2B market to enable customers to define schedules for future or reoccurring orders that will be executed automatically.  This allows for the automatic replenishment of stock levels. Although part of the Order Management module, replenishment and order scheduling are built into the accelerator framework, and can be implemented in any accelerator with some development. In this video, I’m going to demonstrate the replenishment process with the Powertools B2B storefront. This fully functional, reference storefront contains all of the sample data necessary to showcase the available B2B functionality, which includes replenishment and order scheduling. I log in to the Powertools storefront as the B2B customer, Alejandro Navarro.  I’ll add some items to my cart and start the checkout process.  When I get to the Final Review step of the checkout process, I can see that there is a Schedule Replenishment button here.  Once I’ve checked the terms and conditions, the button is enabled, so I can schedule my replenishment order.  I’ll select the date to start the replenishment.  I then need to select the order frequency.  My options are daily, weekly, and monthly. As you can see, the interface updates to provide me with additional configuration options based on which frequency is selected.  I’m going to schedule this replenishment as a weekly replenishment.  Once you have a replenishment scheduled, you can find it in My Account, under Replenishment Orders.  Here you can view the details of your replenishment order and cancel it. You can also see the replenishment history.  Since this is a new replenishment order, it doesn’t have any history of previous replenishments yet.  If you have already placed an order in the past that you would like to turn into a replenishment order, you can quickly do this by going to your Order History.  As you can see, you have a reorder button available to you that takes you to that same Final Review step of the checkout process that we saw before, where you can check the terms and conditions and then click Schedule Replenishment.  That concludes this video on B2B replenishment and scheduled orders.
