Skipping Survey Questions using Survey Branching in SAP Sales Cloud

Skip questions using survey branching based on how respondents answer the current question. They can skip certain questions and jump to a later question in the survey. For example, you have a question asking whether your customers are satisfied with the product. If they answer yes, you can ask follow up questions about which aspect of the product appeals to them the most and whether they'd recommend the product to others. If the answer is no, then there's no reason to show questions two and three. Instead, you want them to go directly to question four and five, asking what made their experiences negative and whether they've contacted customer support. When you as an administrator, apply branching to a multiple choice single select question for each answer option, you need to select a target. Question two which to branch. In other types of questions, you define the branching target at the question level. In our example, if customers are satisfied with the product, they should go ahead with question two regarding their positive experiences. If the answer is no. The survey branches to question four for feedback on negative experiences. If branching is not defined, respondents are taken to the next question in your survey sequence for satisfied customers. Once they complete question three, you don't want them to continue to question four and five for respondents to skip those two questions. You should also define branching in question three. In this question, no matter which answer is selected, the respondents should go to the end of the survey. And also when the question is left unanswered. After you finish applying the branching logic, you can preview your survey with a simulation to see if the questions are logically displayed. As expected. The matrix view displays all questions in the survey. However, respondents can only answer questions that are applicable based on the branching logic. The others are grayed out.
