Technical Setup in S/4 HANA and BTP - SAP Broker Reconciliation for Commodity Derivatives

Hello and welcome to the session about the technical setup in SAP S4HANA and on BTP for Industry Cloud App SAP Broker Reconciliation for Commodity Derivatives. In this video, you will learn which steps you need to perform to technically set up your S4HANA system and your BTP subaccount. This tutorial should guide you through the process and is meant to be an addition to the implementation and administration guide, which both can be found at our help.sap.com page. First, you need to access your S4 system. Here, you need to check whether the three OData services for uploading training broker statement, uploading clearing broker statement, and trigger matching in S4 are active. To do so, you need to open the package for cloud integration, where you'll find the sub-packages for clearing broker, trading broker, and class data, so for matching. In every package, you need to navigate to the service bindings and open it. The local service endpoint must be published. If not, press the button on the right side to publish it. As next step, you need to set up the SAP Cloud Connector to connect your SAP S4 HANA system with your BTP account. If you need to understand how you set up a Cloud Connector, you can watch great videos here on this platform from the respective team. Just search for Cloud Connector. The only thing you need to do in terms of SAP broker reconciliation for commodity derivatives app is to add the app subaccount to the Cloud Connector. After that, you can configure the destination in the subaccount inside BTP cockpit so that app in S4 can be connected. For this action, also nice videos exist here on this platform. So all in all, the main effort of technically setting up this industry cloud app is standard configuration and can be easily done. Thanks for watching and see you next time.
