Understanding Customer User Interface using Key User Adaptation in SAP Service Cloud Version 2

In this video, you'll learn how to customize the look and feel of the user interface for all users. Log on as an administrator. Navigate to your user profile and click Start Adaptation. The orange line and menus at the top of the screen indicate that you're in adaptation mode. The plus icon and outline identify the sections you can customize. Hover the pointer over the desired section to view the editing icons. The pencil or edit icon opens the section items pop up box. Click and drag the move handle next to a field to change the field. Order. Select the hide icon to hide a field. To add fields, select the add from list icon to show the additional fields available for the section. You can select one or more fields to add to add extension fields. Scroll down and select the extensions list to view the list of available extension fields. Once you've selected the fields you want to add to the section, click Apply. This applies all the changes you've made, including hiding and reordering fields. You can also add, hide, show, and reorder sections. Hover over the desired section to view the editing icons. Use the up and down arrows to move the section up or down in the column. You can add custom sections by clicking the plus icon and selecting create section. If you want to make the custom section name visible as the header, select the show section header checkbox to manage multiple sections together. Click the plus icon and then select Manage Sections. Sections use the same controls as fields to reorder and hide sections. You can also delete custom sections. Once you finish adapting the interface, end the session to save your changes.
