Using AI to Enhance Job Posting Description Translations in SAP Fieldglass

SAP Fieldglass released a new AI-enhanced feature that simplifies communicating job posting description requirements using AI-enhanced translations. Historically, the global architecture of job descriptions featured numerous language variations, making management complex. In SAP Fieldglass, at least 90% of job posting templates are initially written in English. To ensure suppliers understood the job requirements, users manually translated these descriptions into other languages. These manual translations often led to supplier confusion about job requirements, resulting in  less suitable candidate submissions and extended submission times due to the need for further clarification. Introducing the AI Enhanced Job Posting Description Translation feature for SAP Fieldglass. This feature allows users to leverage generative AI to translate job posting description seamlessly within the standard SAP Fieldglass workflow. The key benefits to the AI Enhanced translation features are:  Reduced time to translate  job descriptions Standardization and streamlining  of processes  Increased clarity of job requirements for suppliers And enhanced global scalability and support for program expansion The job posting description field can be completed manually  or using the AI Enhanced job posting description feature. When translating, the system automatically detects the language of the job posting description, and translates it to the user's profile language. Users can also employ AI to translate the job posting description into any supported language within their company. The translation utilizes smart contextual prompt engineering, ensuring that the content is not merely translated word-for-word, but that the job requirements and responsibilities are clear and accurately conveyed in the target language. This AI enhanced translation feature benefits all industries and companies using SAP Fieldglass. Generative AI is used to translate descriptions based on the company's configuration settings and the user's profile language preferences. After the AI enhanced translations, users need to review the content generated before proceeding and are free to make any modifications to the descriptions as needed. Here is how you could utilize AI to generate an enhanced translation of a job posting description in the SAP Fieldglass application. To utilize the AI enhanced job posting translation feature, you'll need to initiate a job posting creation process as usual, selecting the template and entering the required details. If a job posting template exists and the job posting supports editing job descriptions, a description is pulled directly from the company's job posting template. Otherwise, the user will create their own description to enhance and translate with AI. Here, we can see the job posting description that was automatically copied over from the job posting template. Select Translate with AI to simplify the communication of job posting description requirements in another language. The first time you use the AI enhanced job posting description or AI enhanced translation feature, an artificial intelligence consent message will appear. This ensures you review all AI generated data and make any necessary adjustments. You then select OK. Here, the AI generated description is written in English. Select the language dropdown to translate the description to another language. Select Spanish. Here, you can see the previous English description was translated into Spanish by Generative AI. And select Accept. The translated AI generated description is now automatically populated in the description box  of the create job posting page. You may continue to modify the generated description and tune the content as needed in Spanish. And that is how the AI enhanced job description translation feature in SAP Fieldglass simplifies communicating job posting description requirements in the application.
