Using Enterprise Search for Reporting in SAP Fiori - SAP S/4HANA User Experience

Hello, and welcome to this microlearning video on Using Enterprise Search for Reporting in SAP Fiori. My name is Trijeeta Acharjee and I'm a product specialist for user experience at SAP. This learning video is targeted at the SAP S/4HANA business users and the technical and functional consultants. In this learning video, we shall see how you use the Enterprise Search and the available search objects. We should see how to filter the search results  and save them as bookmarks. Through this learning video, we try to address some of the most asked questions by our customers while implementing SAP Fiori. So, let's get started. So in this example, I am logged in as a finance specialist and this is my Fiori launchpad. And here on the top, you see the option of Enterprise Search. And here what you see on the screen in the dropdown is the pre-defined search objects that are assigned to the business role that is assigned to my user. So for the sake of this example, I select the Condition Contracts. And what you see on the screen here are all the condition contracts that are available in the system. So on the right side of the screen there is a list view, and on the left side of the screen you see all of all the search conditions. So I have searched all in Condition Contracts and these are the three different filters that are available to me. So I have filters available in the contract type, customer, and supplier, and I can visualize these filters in a different  way. So for example, I choose a pie chart for the  contract type. If I select one of my contract types, you see that my list view changes. And similarly, I can select the other filters as well. For example, supplier. And here I can see two filters are selected and here I can visualize the different filters in a different way. For example, here I have visualized the supplier as a bar chart and the contract type as a pie chart. In the list view, there is also a possibility of customizing the columns and seeing the columns that I need. So for example, I will de-select the Contract Type and the Supplier  and select, maybe, the Created By and Created On. So this is the data that I want to see and I'm happy with, and maybe I want to save it.  So here on the top, you see the possibility of saving it as a tile. And here I can give the title name, for example, Contract Type SBGR,  maybe subtitle as Supplier. So, I give my supplier name 1730002, and I added it to the group home. And now this is saved as a tile. And if I go to my Fiori launchpad in my homepage, I can see the tile I created. And if I click it, I can see that in one click, I have all the data that I need without having to, search through all the filter conditions again. There is also a possibility of saving this as an Excel. So here I can download this data as Excel as  well. So here is the Excel that has been created. To sum up what we have just seen, your SAP Fiori launchpad offers an Enterprise Search function that searches across all apps and business objects. These search objects depend on the role of the user. The search icon is displayed in the shell bar of  the launchpad. You have also seen how to save and bookmark the search result as a tile or download it in an Excel. To learn more, please check out our openSAP platform. If you are interested in learning about the implementation aspects of SAP Fiori, please see the following openSAP courses displayed on the screen. They are provided by the speakers from our  regional implementation group. Thank you for listening, and goodbye.
