Using Rejection Reasons in Service Quotations and Orders - SAP S/4HANA Service

Hi, I haven't seen you in past few days. Seems like you are busy. Hi, actually I am struggling with the rejected service quotations. There are huge number of rejected service quotations and I am unable to find the causes for the rejection. I can understand the complexity of this problem. But, with Espohana, you can have a perfect solution. Oh really, can you please explain about it? Yes, I would like to walk you through the process. It's very easy. There are several ways to use this feature. Rejection can be done on the header level as well as item level. The first way is, reject the quotation from the home screen. User can search the quotation and click on the reject button. Once clicked, user will get the pop-up asking for the rejection reason. Select rejection reason from the drop-down. Now, the quotation is rejected with the rejection reason. Rejection reason can be seen in the header of the quotation. The second way is user can reject the quotation by opening the quotation. User can click the reject button. Once clicked user will get a pop-up for asking for rejection reason and select the reason from drop-down. Rejection reason can be seen in the header of the quotation. The third way is user can also reject the quotation on the item level. User can select the item and click the reject item button. Once clicked, user can select the reason from drop down and the rejection reason can be seen in the header of the quotation. The fourth way is user can also reject the quotation item in edit mode. In edit mode, user can select the items and click on reject button. User can select rejection reason and save the quotation. Rejection reason can be seen in the header of the quotation. We can set up the rejection reason by logging in configure your solution application with BCP expert credentials. Select application area as service and sub application area as journal settings. Now click on setting for rejection reason. There are three steps need to be followed. Step one, define rejection reason. Step two, define rejection profile. Step three, assign rejection profile. Now let's begin with the step one. Under configuration step, click on configure. On the next screen, user can click on new entries. Now user can enter more than one rejection reason. After providing the rejection reason and description, user can save the entry by hitting the Save button on the bottom right on the screen. In the second step, we will define the rejection profile. Click on Configure. Create a new entry by providing the rejection profile and profile description. Select the newly created profile and click on Assign rejection reason for the rejection profile. But clicking on new entry, we can search and select the rejection reason defined earlier. Now click on OK, press the enter button and as it can be seen, description is automatically populated. Now save the rejection profile. Let's move to the final step. We will assign the rejection profile to the transaction types. Click on configure. Here you can search and select your newly created rejection profile. Click on OK. And save it. That's it. We are done. That's all about the rejection reason. Thanks a lot.
