Using the Supplier Management Dashboard in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll learn how to use the Supplier Management dashboard to monitor your suppliers and supplier management activities in SAP Ariba Supplier Management solutions. The Supplier Management dashboard is available in sites that include SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance or SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management (new architecture). You must have the appropriate permissions to view the Supplier Management dashboard. For information about the user groups that grant access to this functionality, see the Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management Group Descriptions guide in the SAP Help Portal. To access the Supplier Management dashboard, select the Supplier Management dashboard tab. If you do not see the Supplier Management tab, select More and choose Supplier Management. I'll select the Supplier Management dashboard tab. The Supplier Management dashboard includes three areas: the search bar, the My Activities area, and the My Suppliers area. This video focuses on using the My Activities and My Suppliers areas. The My Activities area shows information about the supplier management projects that you've created. You can only see this area if you have permission to create a supplier management project, such as requesting a new supplier or inviting a supplier to register, and if you have created at least one project. If the process project feature is enabled in your site, you can also see this area if you're a decision-maker for at least one qualification process project. The My Activities area shows a tile for each supplier lifecycle stage with the number of projects you've created or are a decision-maker for. You can choose a tile to see a list of projects of that type. I'll select the Registration tile. For each project, you can see the supplier's name, the project's current status, and a view button that opens the relevant area of the supplier's 360-degree profile. For qualification, disqualification, and preferred supplier management projects, you can also see the commodities, regions, and departments associated with each project. The My Suppliers area shows the recent activities for the suppliers you've been assigned to and those with at least one qualification, disqualification, or preferred supplier project. Therefore, this area is only available in SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance. You only see this area if you are assigned to at least one supplier qualification, disqualification, or preferred supplier project or process based on the buyer category assignments set up by your site's administrators. The My Suppliers area shows the name, ID, registration status, recent activity, and preferred category status of each supplier you manage. You can use filters to narrow the list of suppliers by category, region, registration status, qualification status, preferred status, and primary supplier manager. The category and region filters apply to preferred and qualified categories and regions. The available filter options depend on the characteristics of the suppliers in the current list. For example, I currently see three options on the category filter. If I filter by region, the category filter only shows the two categories that match the previously filtered regions. To clear the region filter, I'll choose the drop-down menu, then select Clear. You've now seen how to use the Supplier Management dashboard to monitor your suppliers and supplier management activities in SAP Ariba Supplier Management solutions. Thanks for watching.
