Using the Supplier Risk Dashboard - SAP Ariba

In this video, you’ll learn how to use the Supplier Risk dashboard to monitor overall supplier risk in SAP Ariba.  The Supplier Risk dashboard shows risk information for all of the suppliers that you follow,  with links to more detailed information.  It also shows risk assessment project information for all suppliers.  The dashboard includes several components.  You can use the Search bar to search for all of your company's suppliers that have been added to SAP Ariba Supplier Risk,  whether or not you’re currently following them.  You can perform an empty search to see all of the suppliers in your company’s SAP Ariba Supplier Risk database.  In the search results,  the icon to the left of each supplier indicates whether you’re following them.  A red X indicates that you’re not following the supplier,  and therefore will not get alerts about them.  If you see a green checkmark, you are following the supplier.  You can start following a supplier by checking the box next to their name,  selecting Follow at the bottom of the table,  and confirming the update.  Let’s return to the Supplier Risk dashboard to explore the other components.  The Risk summary tile shows the risk levels of your followed suppliers as a donut graph,  color-coded by risk level.  You can select a section of the donut to see a list of suppliers with the that level of risk.  You can also use the toggle controls to show or hide each risk level on the graph.  The By risk category tile shows risk levels for your followed suppliers by type.  You can hover your mouse over a bar in the graph to see the number of suppliers with each risk level for that category,  or you can select it to see the list of individual suppliers.  The Alert feed tile shows the latest alerts for the suppliers you follow.  Select Go to alerts to see your full alert list.  The alert list displays all of the unarchived alerts for incident types and suppliers that you follow.  Select Show map to see an interactive map that shows the physical location of your followed suppliers.  The numbers represent the number of suppliers present in each country or region,  based on what you selected in the map’s dropdown filters.  The color coding reflects a country or region’s risk level, as determined by the World Economic Forum.  You can zoom in on the map to view more specific geographical areas.  At the most specific levels, the map displays a pin for each supplier.  Pins are color coded to indicate the individual supplier’s risk level, using the same color scheme as the map.  The supplier table located underneath the map lists the information about the active suppliers currently displayed on the map,  such as the company name, location, the risk exposure for the country or region, and the supplier's potential risk exposure.  If the action queue for engagement projects feature (ARI-9396) is enabled in your site,  you’ll find the Actions tile on the Supplier Risk dashboard.  This tile shows the number of open actions that are assigned to you.  If any actions need immediate attention,  the number of those actions appear at the bottom of the tile in an orange color.  Selecting the Actions tile will take you to the Action queue page.  The Action queue shows the open approvals, To Do tasks, and other actions for engagement projects that are assigned to you,  either as an individual or as a member of a project group.  If the action queue and periodic review of risk controls features are enabled in your site,  you’ll see the Controls tile.  This tile shows the number of controls for which you belong to the decision maker group.  You can select the Controls tile to open the Controls list.  Here you can see the expiration date, status, and other information about each control.  The Engagement requests tile takes you to the Engagement requests page,  which shows all of the engagement risk assessment projects you have permission to see.  The Engagement requests page includes three tabs,  which allow you to view or manage new, in progress, or completed engagement risk assessment projects.  The Issues tile opens a page that shows issues associated with engagement risk assessment projects  at either the engagement or assessment level.  This page and the Issues tile are only visible if your company uses issue projects  and if you have the permission to work with them.  You can view or manage the issues you created, are assigned, or have permission to edit from this page.  You can select the Suppliers evaluated tile to open a list of active suppliers that have undergone risk evaluation  by third-party providers.  You must have registered a license with a provider before you can submit a supplier for third-party risk evaluation  or receive evaluation updates.  Thanks for watching.
