Working with Customer Coupons in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, my name is Cheryl. In this video I will show you the basic features of customer coupon including creating customer coupons coupon, assigning coupon, claiming coupon notification and using customer coupons. Customer coupon provides flexible coupon usage for customers, which can be used for marketing campaigns or ad hoc assignments based on business needs. First, I'll demonstrate how to create a customer coupon. Login to back office as an administrator. Navigate to Marketing Coupon Management coupons. Choose the plus sign, then Customer Coupon and the Create New Customer coupon pop up window will appear. Set active to true. This activates the coupon and makes it usable in the promotion. Set the coupon ID to test customer coupon. Click done to close the pop up window. I'll find the newly created customer coupon. I'll set assignable and Azm to true so that the customer support agent can assign the customer coupon to a customer in Azm. Please note that the campaign URL is generated automatically when this customer coupon is created. The campaign URL is used for claiming this coupon. Click save to apply. Changes. Navigate to promotion rules. Click the plus sign. The Create new Promotion role pop up window will appear. Code is test promotion role. Name is test. Promotion role. Click the done button to close the pop up window. I'll find the newly created promotion role and I'll make the following. Configuring button in the Rules Properties tab. Website is electronics promo group priorities 100. Rule Group is coupon promotion rule Group under the Conditions and Actions tab. Make the following configuration input. Buy this product. You will get a US $5 discount under message. Drag the coupon code as one condition. Set qualifying coupons to test customer coupon. Drag qualifying products as one condition. Set products 2137220. Drag fixed discount on CART as one action set absolute discount to $5. Click save. Click the Publish Promotion rule from module. Select the promotion module as the promotion module and click okay. Navigate to system search and navigation. Solar facet search configuration. Facet search configurations. Click the electronics index. Click index. Click the start button. Click done after it's finished. Next, I'll demonstrate how to assign the customer coupon to a customer and ask them. Log in to Asme as a Customer support agent. Enter the customer name or customer email address and click Start Session. Click the 360 customer view to view the customer details. Click the promotions tab and then navigate to the Customer coupon section. Test customer Coupon is here. Click send the customer for this newly created coupon. Close the 360 customer view. Navigate to my account, then my coupons. You'll find the test coupon has been assigned to you. In addition to getting a coupon assigned an Asme, the customer can also directly claim the customer coupon. Click the 360 customer view. Navigate to the promotions tab, then the Customer coupon section. Then click the set tab. Click the remove button next to the Test Customer coupon. Refresh the page. Test customer coupon is not assigned to the current customer. Click end session. Click sign out. Close CSM switch to the back office. I'll navigate to coupons. I'll find the test customer coupon. Copy the value for the campaign URL. Switch to the homepage of the electronics website. Paste the value for the campaign URL of the test customer coupon to the end of the current URL, and I'll open the related page. The storefront will redirect you to the login page. Log in using the related customer email and password. You will find the test customer coupon has been assigned to you again. The customer can decide to turn on status notifications for a coupon so that they can be informed before the coupon expires. Switch to back office. Set the end date to today for the Test customer coupon. Then click save. Switch to the storefront. Refresh the page. The display text for the assigned test customer coupon has become expiring soon. To turn on notifications, navigate to My Account notification preferences. Make sure the customer email has been set as the notification channel. Switch back to back office. Locate the cron job node by entering cron job in the filter tree entries field. Find the coupon notification cron job. Click the run cron job button to activate the coupon notification cron job. You'll all receive notifications for the test customer coupon through the registered email. Now it's time to show how to use the customer coupon. Navigate to my account. My coupons click Find Products on the Test Customer coupon. List of products to which the selected coupon is applicable will display. Add one of the products into your shopping cart. Click checkout. Click the blank space in the coupon code field to display all available coupons in the dropdown list. Choose the Test Customer coupon. Click apply. The Test Customer coupon is automatically applied with a message indicating you have applied the selected coupon successfully. For more details about customer coupons, please visit help sap.com. Thanks for watching.
