Working with Your Supplier Requests on the Dashboard in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch Steve, a business user at NSM Global, filter, view, edit and discard his supplier requests on the Supplier Management dashboard. Hi, I'm Steve. The Supplier Request tile on the Supplier Management dashboard shows all the requests that I've created in my current locale. I can filter my supplier requests based on their status. In this scenario, I want to see requests I've submitted that have not yet received an approval decision. To filter my requests, I'll choose the filter option in the Status column, select one or more statuses, and then choose done to apply the filters. My filter choices have been applied. I'll repeat the steps to clear the filters. I can view a supplier request to see its details. The View option is available for supplier requests that are in approval, pending resubmission, or approved. To view a request, I'll choose View in the Action column of the request I want to examine. This supplier request was approved, so its details page includes information about its completed approval process and a link to the supplier's 360-degree profile. After viewing the request, I'll return to the dashboard. Next, I'll edit some of my supplier requests. I can edit requests that are in Draft or Pending Resubmit status. To edit a draft request, I'll choose Edit in the Action column of the draft I want to finalize. I'll make changes to the draft request. After editing the draft, I have three options: submit the supplier request for approval, save it as a draft, or cancel the supplier request. I'll save the changes to the draft request. Now, I'll return to the dashboard. I can also edit my requests that are pending resubmission. Supplier requests move to Pending Resubmit status if an approver asks for additional information about a request from the requester. To edit a supplier request that's pending resubmission, I must first view the request. On the request details page, I can see comments from the approver, detailing the additional information they're asking for. To provide the the requested information, I'll choose Edit, make the necessary changes, and resubmit the request. After submitting my edits, I'll return to the dashboard. Now, I'll discard a supplier request. The Discard option is only available for draft requests. To discard a request, I'll choose Discard in the Action column of the request I want to remove. My draft has been discarded. You've now learned how users work with their supplier requests on the Supplier Management dashboard. Thanks for watching.
