This learning journey will introduce you to the key features and functions of creating guided sourcing projects within SAP Ariba Sourcing.

Guided Sourcing Learning Journey Teaser

Creating sourcing projects and events within SAP Ariba Sourcing can help companies manage spend strategically and realize negotiated savings. This learning journey includes six courses through which you will learn how SAP Ariba Sourcing solutions allow you to unlock the full value of your sourcing strategies. Within this learning journey, we are going to expand on the activities that are performed by sourcing project creators using the guided sourcing experience. Guided sourcing helps organizations find new sources of supply, identify savings opportunities, and standardize their indirect material sourcing processes. We will start with how to navigate the SAP Ariba sourcing user interface and see firsthand how project owners can create indirect sourcing projects after getting acclimated with the general navigation and terminology. The focus area of this learning journey will review both full projects and events within guided sourcing. We will review the attributes of full projects as well as different event types including requests for information, proposals, and auctions. We will help clarify how and when to use various standard event types that come out of the box with different rules, lotting structures, response options, and pricing strategies to help maximize competition or solicit information. Once the event is created, we will explore how to administer guided sourcing events and how to effectively use the project monitoring tools. Finally, once the event closes, we will see what owners can use to create award scenarios and analyze responses and run reports to determine the event awardees. - Creating a guided sourcing RFI followed by RFP&nbsp;
