Overview
This live session explains the various sizing methods for SAP Datasphere. We will explain the sizing approach for both SAP Datasphere greenfield implementation and migration.
SAP Datasphere enables the permanent storage of data in local tables, replicated remote tables, and persistent views, whose initial size can be sized using the Quick Sizer. When migrating from a BW system, SAP offers the option of estimating SAP Datasphere resources using the sizing report.
The SAP Datasphere Capacity Unit Estimator can be used to identify sizes such as storage, compute, data lake, data integration, premium outbound, elastic compute nodes, and object store, and to determine the number of required capacity units. To use the estimator effectively, sizing should be performed beforehand. In this presentation, you will learn how the sizing tools and the estimator are related and how to avoid common errors.
