SAP HANA Cockpit: Architecture & Configuration for Database Administrators
.png&w=3840&q=75)
Overview
Managing SAP HANA databases at scale starts with the right tooling. SAP HANA Cockpit is the central web-based interface for monitoring, administering, and maintaining your SAP HANA landscape — but getting the architecture right and configuring it properly from day one is what separates reactive troubleshooting from proactive database operations.
This session covers the SAP HANA Cockpit architecture and its core components — Cockpit Manager and Cockpit Application. We walk through the full configuration workflow: registering system and tenant databases, creating database groups, setting up cockpit users and roles, and establishing a clean separation of duties across technical, application, and OS-level accounts. The session includes a live demo of the complete setup process, from first login to a fully operational Database Overview.
