Overview
In this live session, we will explore how to configure the integration between SAP S/4HANA Service and Controlling. The session will introduce the role of Controlling Types, including Mass-Object Controlling and Single-Object Controlling, and explain how these settings influence the posting of costs and revenues for service transactions such as service orders, in-house repairs, confirmations, and service contracts. Participants will learn how to define controlling levels, controlling scenarios, and key parameters such as costing sheets, overhead keys, results analysis keys, and settlement profiles. We will also discuss how profitability segments are determined and how postings flow into Controlling-Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) or internal orders, ensuring accurate cost tracking and profitability reporting.
