Hi, everyone. Welcome to Product Expert Training H1 2026. Today's topic is Accelerating AI First Strategy with Streamlined Joule Enablement for SAP Cloud ERP. This is the disclaimer. My name is Abhyarthana Kalungo and I work as a Product Manager in SAP. let's start with today's agenda cloud integration automation service introduction is the agenda number one then followed by streamlined Joule enablement for SAP S/4HANA PCE powered by cloud integration automation service then Joule configuration steps followed by a demo Cloud Integration Automation Service Introduction So, what is Cloud Integration Automation Service? Basically, Cloud Integration Automation Service is an SAP BTP-based application which simplifies complex integration scenarios by generating step-by-step guided workflows. so what happens in a typical integration scenario is customer need to read through many different integration guides they may need to also go through many different sap notes go through sap blogs etc to plan for the integration they also need to find out right expertise then they assign this task and finally able to complete the integration which takes a lot of time and usually error prone. Now to mitigate this issue cloud integration automation service provides step-by-step guided workflow. When we say cloud integration automation service provides guided workflow it also fetches the landscape information that is needed for the integration. It also provides automated tasks wherever it is possible, guides users at each component label and finally all the tasks are implemented as per the role. It supports integration scenarios for public and private cloud. Some on-premise integration scenarios are also supported. This service is generally available and comes with no additional cost. Since now we know what is Cloud Integration Automation Service, let's talk about what are the benefits of using Cloud Integration Automation Service. So first of all, it provides planning capabilities to plan integration scenarios. It comes with intuitive user interface and accelerates cloud adoption by reducing the overall integration time. It supports integrated parameter management, which means once you use one parameter, that parameter will be recognized and will be reused whenever it is needed. It supports traceability, which means all the activities that has been done using cloud integration automation service can be traced. Also, it provides standardized procedures, unified view, and helps in TCO production. Let's see how you can use Cloud Integration Automation Service. So, Cloud Integration Automation Service follows a simple four -step approach, which means in the step one, you select the required integration scenario. cloud integration automation service supports around 150 different integration scenarios and customers can select the required integration scenarios in step number two they generate a role based workflow and in step number three they assign the task to the right experts in step number four they will run and monitor the task until the completion of integration so cloud Integration Automation Service basically follows this simple four-step approach to mitigate complex integration scenarios. Now let's take one example how Joule enablement for SAP S/4HANA PCE is actually streamlined by Cloud Integration Automation Service. So in a typical customer Joule setup in SAP S/4HANA PCE, customers need to configure and do setup in many different entities. Starting from the backend system, which is SAP S/4HANA PCE, they need to do configurations in the cloud connector, they have to do many configurations in SAP BTP, they also have to do some configuration in the IaaS tenant to establish the trust and finally the Joule activation happens. All these setups and integration takes a lot of time and usually complex and tedious which takes several days but now with cloud integration automation service in place this whole integration process has been reduced to hours. So you can see from several days now this integration can be done in hours which is a significant reduction in the total cost of ownership. So from complex and tedious now this integration has become faster and simpler with cloud integration automation service. Now let's talk about the different dual configuration steps. So there are four different entities for dual configuration and here we'll start with the backend system which is SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition. Here many configuration needs to be done starting from activating SICF service, adding the role to the users, expose SAP Fiori launchpad content so on and so forth. In the SAP Cloud Connectors we also need to do configure or add sub account to SAP cloud connector we need to create mapping virtual to internal system and so on and so forth. In SAP BTP global account many configuration needs to be done starting from creating a sub account adding the entitlement enable cloud foundry so on and so forth. Finally in the SAP BTP identity authentication service many configuration needs to be done starting from trust the domain set up the source system set up the target system finally running the jobs so now you can see here there are many different tasks which need to be done in many different entities however with cloud integration automation service we are able to achieve automations for many of these tasks so here you can see that we are able to achieve more than 82 percent automation here and for the remaining manual steps or manual task cloud integration automation service provides a guided step-by -step information to the users so that customers or users can follow those instruction and complete the manual task without any error. So now let's see the demo for it. Once the users subscribe to cloud integration automation service they can access it and this is the landing page of cloud integration automation service. Here you can see there are three different tiles. The first one is plan integration scenarios and here basically you can choose and plan for an integration scenario. In my inbox you can view and manage all the integration tasks that has been assigned to you. In monitor integration scenarios you can track the progress for all the integration scenarios so click on plan integration scenarios so here you can see all the different integration scenarios that are supported by cloud integration automation service at this moment cloud integration automation service supports around 150 different integration scenarios search for Joule and here you can see there is integration scenario, SAP S-Fortana, Cloud Private Edition, Joule integration and click on that. And here you can see there is a description, a very brief description about the whole integration and you can also see the prerequisites that is needed to complete this integration. In the scenario entities tab, you can see all the different entities or the systems that is needed for this integration. In the scenario task you can see the different tasks that is needed to complete this integration. In the support information tab you can find the support component in case you need to raise a ticket. Click on select systems and here you can see that all the different entities or the systems are listed here and also you can see that cloud integration automation services able to fetch the landscape information the underlying landscape information arch per the user who has logged in to work on this integration so basically you can find the different entities or the different tenants and you can select the required or the appropriate tenant for this integration so for the sap business technology platform go ahead and select the right tenant and then for sap btp identity authentication service you can go ahead and select the tenant likewise for sap cloud connector and also for the sap backend system which is saps for hana cloud private edition and the sap web dispatcher so once all the tenants are selected for each of these entities the user need to click on generate workflow click on proceed and here you can see that cloud integration automation service is making sure that we are giving some system details and here many of these informations are actually defaulted by cloud integration automation service and very few very specific informations need to be provided by the user such as the central instance number in this case so once done click on scope selection and here again user need to select the right or select the appropriate scope as per the integration requirement click on confirm prerequisite here cloud integration automation service is making sure that all the all the prerequisites that is needed for these integrations are actually met click on add task parameter here again user supposed to provide very specific information as per the requirements such as the sub-account region, sub-account display name, sub-account sub-domain, BTP global account, administrator email and password who has the authorization to complete or to work in this integration. So you get a summary of all the details that has been provided and click on confirm. So at this moment a workflow has been generated for this particular integration and it is already running in the background so you can click on scenario monitoring tab and here you can see that many of these integrate integration tasks which are fully automated are already ran in the background are done such as create a btp sub account adding the entitlements enabling cloud foundry etc so these are fully automated tasks and those are ran in the background and are already completed then the user encounter a step which is a manual task and in this case it is activate service flv content exposure this is a manual task so here click on the the link here which is click here and here you can see that for this particular manual task cloud integration automation service is provide is providing step by step guided information you can see a deep link here and also guided information that needs to be done to complete this manual task so cloud integration automation service make sure wherever automation is not possible it guides the user to complete the task without making any error so users simply need to follow these instructions provided in the cloud integration automation service and complete it so in this case the user is logged into the backend system which is SAPS for HANA PCE and need to need to follow the instruction and complete the task. Once the task is done, the user come back to the workflow and resume it and go to the next step. So again, expose SAP Fiori launchpad standard role content to SAP BTP. Again, a manual task and all the information that is needed to complete this task has been provided in the cloud integration automation service itself and the user supposed to follow this instruction one one by one and complete this particular manual task once done again resume the workflow and go to the next tag again create a content provider in sap build works and standard edition is one of the manual tasks and here you can see that cloud integration automation service is again guiding the user to complete the task so users follow these instructions given in the cloud integration automation service and complete the task we are creating a content channel in the channel manager and providing the information that is needed so you can follow the instructions given in the in the cloud integration automation service itself and here you can see that content channel is being created and this particular task is done again activating Joule is one of the manual tasks here we are supposed to run the booster and here again cloud integration automation service is making sure that all the information that is needed to complete this task are documented well in cloud integration automation service itself so here the booster has been ran and tool is already now activated so likewise all the tasks manual tasks needs to be done one after other following the instructions provided by cloud integration automation service running the job in cloud identity service again one of the manual tasks which has been fully simplified and where some of the configurations needs to be done first in the source system then in the target system again this particular complex task has been simplified in cloud integration automation service and users can follow the instruction and complete the particular task as well again create catalog in sap pod launchpad designer um again a manual task and here you can see that cloud integration automation service is providing deep links and step -by-step information to complete this particular task so users needs to log into the backend system which is the sap s for hana system and need to configure this manual task basically so once done you can see that the catalog is being created now once created it basically we are supposed to add it to the plugin and basically here we are doing the target mapping for the jewel here and once done all the configuration that needs to be done to complete this integration has now been completed and you can see that content channel configurations are done and finally jewel is coming up so once the roles are assigned to the users, they can basically launch the Fiori app and start using the Joule. So with this, I'm at the end of the demo and we can switch to the presentation. So in this demo, you saw how cloud integration automation service is basically streamlining the Joule enablement in SAP S -Burhana Private Cloud Edition.
