Accessing Embedded Analytics in SAP Marketing Cloud

Hi, in this video you'll learn about Embedded Analytics in SAP Marketing Cloud. SAP Marketing Cloud helps you to analyze your marketing success by offering a variety of analytics stories and operational reports for all marketing areas. Once the content package is downloaded from the Content Library in SAP Analytics Cloud, it gets seamlessly embedded into SAP Marketing Cloud. All the SAP Analytics stories and operational reports contained in the package are then automatically displayed and available to use in the Analytics and Report Gallery app, which acts as a central access point. This way, embedded analytics allows you to easily and quickly utilize the analytics capabilities within SAP Marketing Cloud. Now let's look at different ways in which analytical data is embedded in SAP Marketing Cloud and how you can access it. As mentioned, one way to access the embedded analytics data is through the Analytics and Reports gallery. It comes in two different versions, as an overview page with either a card view or a classical list view. Both apps provide a central overview to access analytics stories, daily operational reports to slice and dice reporting results, as well as analytical apps. I can see that all analytics content is categorized into different information areas. Campaign analytics, contacts and profiles, marketing planning and performance, marketing data analysis, offer management, and leads and accounts. To see the details of an analytics story, simply select the story from either view. I'll select the success of email and SMS campaigns, for example. I can access operational reports in the same way. When I open a report, for example, campaign performance, it opens the corresponding CDS view in the Design Studio. Via the Settings menu, I can change the chart type, for example, to a bar or pie chart. By opening the Filters menu, I can drill down to various dimensions and measures. In addition to the pre-built content that SAP Marketing Cloud delivers, I can also create my own analytics stories in operational reports. If you want to know about how to create your own story from scratch, watch the video shown below. The SAP Analytics Cloud stories are also accessible via the campaigns, spotlighting accounts, and manage offer apps. To access analytics stories, I can simply click the Analyze button within these apps. For instance, if I click the Analyze button on the campaign overview page, the campaign-related analytics stories open on the same page and I can access each individual story via the header bar. In the Configure menu that's accessible via the gear wheel or cogwheel icon in the top right corner, I can see more details about each analytic story and disable certain stories which are not relevant to me. It's also possible to access various analytic stories via this Analyze button on the Performance tab after you open a campaign. By selecting a story, I can access the analytics story filtered for the specific campaign. When I select Bounce Analytics, for instance, I'm able to see the overall bounce rate and the number of hard and soft bounces. Some apps also display analytics data directly within the application. For example, in a campaign app, I can easily review a comprehensive set of KPIs to check the success of marketing investments, for example, sent messages, hard and soft bounces, clicks and many more. When I click on a KPI, I can navigate to that corresponding story. Moreover, SAP Marketing Cloud offers various dedicated analytical applications such as Customer Journey Insight and the Lead Dashboard, which I can access from the Fiori Launchpad or the Analytics and Report Gallery. With Customer Journey Insight, I can see customer journey patterns immediately on a highly intuitive UI and analyze customer journeys that lead to events such as a purchase or an abandoned shopping cart. The Lead Dashboard app allows me to review the success of the lead management process in an integration with SAP Sales Cloud or SAP CRM, and it provides a comprehensive overview of KPI attainment. So in this video, you've seen how SAP Analytics Cloud is seamlessly embedded in SAP Marketing Cloud and how embedded analytics enables marketers to easily retrieve analytical data directly within SAP Marketing Cloud. This wraps it up for this video.
