Acting as a Delegate   A delegate is a user who is granted permission to act on behalf of another user to perform tasks such as creating, submitting, and approving expense reports. You can only act as a delegate for someone if you have the same level or higher permissions, and they must assign you as a delegate. In the following example, you will see how to act as a delegate for another person in your organization. To act as a delegate for another user, select Profile, and then select Act as Another User. Select the A Delegate for another user who has granted you this permission option. Enter all or part of the user's name that you will be acting on behalf of, and then select the user from the list. Select Switch. You are now acting as a delegate for the user you selected, and they will have determined your rights and privileges as their delegate. For example, they might allow you to prepare and submit expense reports, email receipts, or approve expense reports on their behalf. To email receipts on behalf of the user you are acting as, you will need to verify your own email address (and possibly originate the verification of the user's email address) in your respective profiles. To verify your email address, select Acting As, Username, and then select Profile Settings. On the My Profile - Personal Information screen, in the Your Information section, select Email Addresses. Once your email addresses are verified, you can send receipt images for reporting from your laptop or from a mobile device to receipts@concur.com. If you have the ExpenseIt add-on product, send image receipts to receipts@expenseit.com. When you are sending receipts on behalf of another user, enter only their email address in the Subject line:  and attach the appropriate receipts. When you are acting on the user's behalf and you email receipts, note that the images are viewable and ready for use in the Reporting system from the Manage Expenses screen in the Available Receipts section. After you have performed your tasks as a delegate, you can return to working for yourself. Select Acting as . Verify that the Myself option is selected, and then select Switch. You are now returned back to working for yourself.
