Adding Distributions to an Invoice in SAP Concur

Adding distributions to an invoice. If you need to charge the cost of an invoice line item to another department or cost center, you can distribute the cost to the appropriate department. In the following example, you will see how to distribute an invoice between your Sales and Operations departments and change the cost center. To begin, from the Payment Request, in the Itemization Summary section, select the checkbox next to the line item you want to distribute. Next, select the Distribute dropdown arrow. You can manually distribute items or use the Distributions template to import your distributions. We recommend using the template when you have recurring distributions. For this example, select Distribute Selected Items. In the Distribute Selected Items window, select Add. For the distribution, you will see your default entities, which can vary by company. Your company determines the fields that are required for your distributions, which are indicated with a red asterisk. To distribute the invoice to another department, select the Department field. Your company's configuration determines how selections are made when making distributions. Most configurations display a drop-down list of choices. It is possible that you might see a free-form text entry field. For this example, select Operations. To change the distributions between cost centers, select the Cost Center field, and then select Hardware. You can distribute the invoice by percentage or amount. In this example, you will see how to distribute the invoice by percentage. Select Distribute By. Verify that percentage is selected, and then select Add. Make any necessary changes to the distribution, and then select Save. After you distribute a line item, you will see the distribution icon next to it. You are now ready to submit the invoice.
