Adding Fixed Allowance to a Request in SAP Concur

In this video, you will see how to add fixed travel allowances to a request in Concur Request. You can start with an existing request or by creating a new request. In this example, we will start by creating a new request. Start by completing the information on the Request Header. The start date and end date fields on the header will become the start and end dates of the travel allowance itinerary. The fields are completed. Select the Create Request button to save the request. Now that the header is created, you can add your fixed travel allowances. Start by expanding the Manage Travel Allowance drop-down and then selecting Add Travel Allowance. You start the process by completing the Travel Allowance itinerary. The Start Location and End Location fields are defaulted based on the user's profile. The Start Date and End Date fields are defaulted based on the information provided on the request header. In this example, you must provide the start time, arrival location, and end time. Once the form is completed, select the Next button to proceed. Next, you must complete the Travel Allowance Adjustment screen. This screen allows you to indicate if any of your allowances were provided to you, such as meals provided by a conference. You select the appropriate checkbox for each provided item. Notice that the standard allowances for the location appear on the right. As you select the checkboxes, those amounts adjust automatically. Once you have selected the appropriate checkboxes, select the Finish button to complete the process. Once the process is completed, one expense for travel allowances appears on the request. The total on the right is the total for all allowances you are claiming. You can use the items in the Manage Travel Allowance drop-down to edit your allowances as necessary. This concludes our demo on adding fixed travel allowance to a request. Thank you for watching.
