Advancing in Creating Email Content in Content Studio (Legacy Editor) in SAP Marketing Cloud

In SAP Hybris Marketing cloud. You can define different content for individual interests in one single email template. John is a marketing expert at Healthy Farm. He is preparing an email campaign showcasing the latest research highlights. John prepares both an email with content for cardiologists and an email with more generic content for all other recipients. John creates an email and includes an image that will be received by every recipient. He clicks on the image and sees the image and link properties, which show the source URL of the default image. Now, John adds a new condition for cardiologists. He enters a name and defines the condition by selecting the personalization attribute function. The condition applies for all recipients but the function cardiologist. Now the condition is automatically assigned to the active block. He is working on the system, has copied the content of the default condition, and John can now change the image for cardiologists. He opens the image search on the source field. He searches in the Connected Digital Asset Management system for the image he wants to use. When he click Select image, the URL of the image is taken over and the image is displayed in the email. He could also paste the URL into the source field. If John wants to see the default content again, he simply clicks on the default condition to toggle between the different versions. John would also like to learn more about the recipient's interests. Therefore, he selects the item of interest related to the content of the target article. Now, each time a physician clicks on the article about research on new medication, SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud will capture this as the interest medicine. Following campaign execution, marketing managers can track the campaign performance and interactions to help them plan future campaigns. Lisa is a cardiologist who receives John's email newsletter. She opens the email and can see the contents for cardiologists. When Lisa clicks the link where the item of interest is maintained, her interest is registered in the system. With this information captured, let's see how SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud can be used to create more effective content. Back at Healthy Farm, Marketing Manager Emily can track the performance and interactions of John's campaign to help her plan future campaigns. On the campaign dashboard, Emily opens the success tab and displays clicked link. Emily can see that the contacts profile now she has a new tag medicine in their tag cloud. This is because Lisa clicked the link with the assigned interest. John can now trigger a new campaign whenever a contact shows an interest in medicine. That way, his content is getting more effective and personalized.
