AI Sustainability Bootcamp Overview

Hi, this is Joe King, Chancellor of the SAP HANA Academy. This video series has captured the training and exercises of a recently completed AI Sustainability Bootcamp, which is run by our colleagues in the platform and strategic partners team of the Partner Solution Adoption Organization. A special thanks to John Luigi, Alecce, Shazare, Quintus, Yatsia, Stuart, Jacob, Mustafa, and Daya. Now the sustainability topic was chosen for the bootcamp because many SAP customers are asking for it. Businesses want to build a sustainable environment for the future, so they are taking actions now that will result in zero emissions of greenhouse gasses and to decrease the waste in the manufacturing processes. In this hands-on four-day boot camp held over four weeks, partners were shown how to complete a set of specific exercises. To enhance those exercises beyond the boot camp, we've created this set of videos that any partner can follow along with from start to finish in their own system. The goal, being at the end of the bootcamp, they can have their very own working demo. Now, let me talk to you about the different playlists we have created and how to access them on our own SAP HANA Academy YouTube channel. Note you'll be able to find the links in the description of this video. At the moment, we have five playlists in total. First, we start with onboarding. This is where we show you how to set up SAP artificial intelligence, how to create various BTP accounts, as well as how to set up Docker, GitHub, and your AWS S3 buckets. The next playlist deals with creating image defect detection. We'll start off by giving you an overview of this series, and then we'll go through all the exact steps in order to perform defect detection on images. Next, we'll replicate those steps, but instead of using images, we'll detect defects through analyzing sound. This is covered in the SAP AI Predictive Maintenance playlist. In the fourth playlist, we'll focus on applications. The first two videos will focus on setup. And then we have a couple of videos using a sample application. We'll show you how to connect the app to your SAP artificial intelligence assets. Lastly, we have two videos on using our extension generators that were developed by the HANA Academy team to help you build the scaffolding of your programs in a few quick and easy steps. Our final playlist in this series shows you how to perform maintenance and cost sustainability planning using SAP Analytics Cloud.
