Assigning Weights to Team Graders in Guided Sourcing Events in SAP Ariba

This video will demonstrate how event owners can assign weights to team graders in guided sourcing events. Assigning weights to graders increases or decreases the value of the scores that team graders specify. This is helpful when the event owner values the input of a team grader scoring more than a separate team grader. The weight helps differentiate the reviewers and the higher the weight, the more impact the scorer will have. The default weight of each grader is 100, so a weight lower than 100 will reduce the grader's impact, and a weight higher than 100 will increase their impact. A weight of 200 doubles the impact of the grader's score in the final scoring result. For example, grader A has a weight of 100% and provides a grade of 50% to a question. Grader B with a weight 50% provides a grade of 70% to the same question. The total grade for the question is 56.66% because of the 100 multiplied by 50 is added against the second reviewer's 70% grade multiplied by their greater weight of 50. This total is then divided against the combined total greater weight. To assign weights to team graders, you must be the event owner or have project owner permissions for the event, and the event rule to enable scoring on participant responses must be enabled. Open the event for editing or edit the event if it has been published. You will first want to add the reviewers to the Team Graders project group before you can set their weights. In the Items That Need Quotes panel or the Questions, Requirements and Attachments panel, select the Set Weight button to open the Set Grading Weight page. The Set Weight button is visible only in panels with content. Select the Graders Weight button. The The Graders Weight pop-up opens with a table of users who are added as Team Graders or external graders for the event. Assign the weight points for each grader.
