Configuring Capture Settings in Open Payment Framework

Hello, in this video I will demonstrate  how to configure the capture settings in OPF Workbench.  We previously set a capture method  to authorize funds at checkout and capture them upon shipment.  Now, let's proceed with configuring the capture.  First, access the integration configuration page  of OPF and locate the capture settings.  Next, map the API call for payment capture.  Stripe documentation indicates that capturing a payment involves capturing a payment intent.  I'll copy  the Stripe-provided API request example.  Set the request method to POST and paste the copied example.  Replace the hardcoded PSP endpoint  with the predefined API endpoint variable to ensure future compatibility  if the endpoint changes.  The payment intent ID,  previously saved against the notification, serves as the PSP reference.  I can find this reference with smart fields.  Add an authentication method to the request,  selecting the predefined demo authentication.  According to the documentation, I'll need to map the "amount to capture".  Using the XForm URL-encoded content type,  enter the required parameter  and a sample value.  Generate the form field and map it  to the existing amount field in exponent.  For the response mapping, copy the response example as a placeholder  and paste it into the response body.  Set the format to JSON and generate the response fields.  Map the Transaction status to the "status" field,  setting "succeeded" as "accepted".  Finally, map the response ID field  as the PSP reference and save all changes.  This completes the capture  configuration process in OPF Workbench.
