Connecting a Dynatrace Subscription to a Mobile App in SAP Commerce Cloud

Hi, my name is William. In this video, I’ll demonstrate how to connect your Dynatrace environments to the Dynatrace mobile app. The Dynatrace mobile app provides instant notifications about issues detected in SAP Commerce environments. It also provides real-time updates on problems, enabling you to continuously monitor them. This video assumes you’ve already used Google Play or the Apple app store to download and install the Dynatrace app on your mobile device. You should also have successfully logged in. First, log in to Dynatrace using your desktop browser. Click the User icon in the top-right corner, and select the environment you wanna connect to. Using the same menu bar, click Receive alerts via mobile app to access the next page. Follow the instructions for connecting environments to your mobile app. This can be done by email notification, or by scanning a QR code displayed on the screen. If you can’t capture the code, or the website is not visible to you, enter your email address in this field and click Send the link by email. You then receive a link redirecting you to your monitoring environment in the mobile app. To use the QR code, first select the operating system, and then scan the code on your mobile device. Click the message Open in Dynatrace at the top of the screen to open the Dynatrace app. A list of connected environments appears, including those you’ve just added. To deactivate push notifications, click the “bell” icon in the top-right corner. Select an environment and check the status of reported problems. The app displays details of each problem, including duration, impact, and root cause. If you want, you can add comments to the problem, or open it in the browser. Back in the Environments view, you can deactivate or delete the tenant if you no longer need it in your list.
