Connecting Your Code Repository to the SAP Commerce Cloud Portal

Hello, my name is William. In this tutorial, I’ll demonstrate how to connect a code repository to an SAP Commerce Cloud subscription. I assume that you've already created or have access to a git-based code repository. In this video, I'm gonna use GitHub, but you can use any git-based code repository.  To get the URL of my code repository, I'll click the "Clone or download" button and copy it to my clipboard. I can use either HTTPS or SSH.  I'm logged into the Commerce Cloud Portal as a Customer System Administrator. To connect my source code repository, I’ll click "Repository" in the side navigation and open the Repository page. In the "Repository URL", I’ll change the type of connection to SSH and add the URL I copied earlier. I need to replace the colon with a slash at the highlighted position.  I’ll click the "Save" button to confirm changes. The code repository needs to be accessed from Azure and an authorization is required. To provide the authorization, I’ll generate a new public key and copy it to my clipboard.  Back in my code repository, I'll click on the "Settings" link.  Next, I’ll choose "SSH and GPG keys" from the side menu and then "New SSH key".  This opens an "Add new" dialogue.  I'll give my new key a title and paste the access key copied from Commerce Cloud Portal into the key field. To complete the process, I’ll click “Add SSH key”.  If I need a new key, I can click the "Regenerate" button and follow the same steps as before to add it to my code repository. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
